I was really skeptical about whether or not these would work for my cat. She has a habit of scratching door frames despite the multiple scratching posts available to her. I feel that declawing is cruel, so started looking up alternatives and found these. I thought she would get frustrated and try to bite them off, but as soon as we got them on her and waited the five minutes for the glue to set, she got down and walked around like normal. She hasn't even acted like she knows they're on. She still comes up and kneads on us all the same. These are really cute and effective, a wonderful alternative to declawing. We're really pleased.

I have used soft paws in the past with one of my cat. they worked very well but they are alittle pricey. I decided to try these ones instead and they work just as good. I like that you get two different colors so you can mix and match.

I absolutely love this product - My cat scratches rugs a lot even though he has a ton of scratching posts, he tends to also scratch us when we walk past. He is very loveable though, so applying it was no problem. I clipped his nails first and then a few hours later I brought him on the couch with his treats.

I recommend filling the caps before starting, it makes it easier. I filled the caps, and after each paw he got a treat. It really helped rewarding him because he was patient with the next paw (the first one, he was a bit mad and hissed at me once but calmed down when I was petting him)

He walks fine, hasn't picked at them, goes around playing like his normal self. It's going to save me my security deposit, so worth the money to buy these :)
