Our senior pug has been revived by the additional pee-mail this 'cart' allows her to gather. Going just a bit farther than her old bones can carry her has made a big difference for our doggy's spirits on the daily walks. She is 20-22 lbs. and fits the medium perfectly. The small unit would not work for our grown pug, more for chihuahuas. Which... I've seen these with 2-3 chihuas or yorkies in it - happily. But only one grown pug fits in the medium and plenty of cushions and blankets. It's a bare, little windbreaker inside... just the carriage and wheels - you gotta bring the comfort. That factors into the size you need to purchase. 'How cold does your dog get?' is the question you gotta ask about this unit.

My pugdog gets pretty cold, and there are three mesh panels leading into the cabin of this thing. If you are a walking fast, even if it is sunny, you can create an eddying breeze in there that can freeze your little pooch to likely death. More than once in the beginning I had to abort mission because I got going full speed and looked down to see a shivering, miserable pooch inside.

I had limited resources in the pet-carrier insulation department, so I cut up the cardboard box that it came in and lined the back of the inside of this thing with it and covered it with some camping material - to block the air coming across her back. I put clear plastic tape over the top hole so I can still look in to see her & to keep the air coming right down on her head. Then I put cushions and blankies in to block the cold and soften the journey. I haven't found a good way to transparently cover the front yet. A proper insulation could be made with the right resources, but this does fine for now.

She loves it. It's totally worth the effort to insulate it. It's a new lease on life for little, old dogs with a lot of life left in them.

I was very pleased when I got my stroller. I was a bit nervous when I saw the box crushed in on one side when it arrived (hello, UPS don't you take better care?). It turned out the stroller was still in perfect shape. I had it together in no time. Getting ready to take the dogs for a walk now! I definitely recommend it.

I am glad to have this product, but it is not easy to figure out how to put it on. It would be helpful if it had directions.
