Funkitty Egg-Cersizer
The Funkitty Egg-Cersizer is a treat/feeding ball that's designed to randomly dispense treats & kibble. The Egg-Cersizer is uniquely adjustable to your cat's level of play. Open 1, 2, or 3 holes to customize to your cat's needs. Unlike other feeder balls on the market, the Egg-Cersizer can be adjusted on the outside of the toy. Also features the Treat Meter which allows for treat distribution from all angles.

Easy to fill, easy to use, and works as advertised. I docked a star because it's not very heavy-duty -- the friend who suggested this product to me once dropped hers from a standing position and it cracked. Also, don't get this if you're not a fan of Easter egg hunts. You'll need to play a game of find-the-egg at every feeding time.We used to practice free-feeding, but when we tried to put our two cats on a diet, the super-fat one ate nearly all of the food (and gained weight), while the slightly-overweight cat dropped weight much too quickly. With these eggs, we feed twice a day and can keep much better tabs on which cat is eating what. Fat kitty lost a noticeable amount of weight within the first two weeks. I'm actually really looking forward to her next vet appointment! The cats also get much more engaged and interested in feeding time. Bonus: my husband used to clean up cat puke almost every single day. He's hardly had to do it once since we transitioned the cats to these feeding eggs. Definitely worth the investment!

Our cat is a little overweight, and sometimes she eats so fast that she gets sick, so I got the Egg-Cersizer to see if it would slow her down a little. She's around eight years old, so I didn't know if it would be hard for her to get used to something new (it comes with instructions on how to ease your cat into using it), but she got into it right away. It's adjustable, so you can make it harder or easier for kitty to get the treats out. She has fun with it, and now she can only eat one bite at a time. This is exactly what we needed.

Took a while to teach Louie how to use this - even though he is a HIGHLY food motivated cat. I let him go hungry for a while and then sat with him and would hit it to it would spill out the food. Now that he has gotten the hang of it, he loves it! I have other food balls, but I really like this one because it is infinitely adjustable - I feed my cat EVO and the kibbles are very small. With this ball I can set the width just larger than one kibble size so he really has to go at it to get the food out. Previously Louie would gorge all his food at once, often so fast he would vomit - now the same measured portion lasts hours. I have also filled it up with food and left for two days at a time - it makes sure he uses effort to eat instead of just for convenience. Highly recommended.
